Providing excellent dental care with compassion
Our Doctors
Graduating co-first in their class from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2011, Doctors Jason and Claire Hemphill practiced general dentistry in the Fort Wayne area before merging their skills into Hemphill Dental.
They met at IPFW while playing volleyball for the Mastodons (Go Dons!) and married after graduation. Blessed with two amazing and fun children, Aaron and Charlotte. They still enjoy and coach volleyball, but you will also find them cheering in the bleachers at their children’s swim meets, basketball games, and ballet.
Don’t’ be surprised if you see a student or two shadowing at Hemphill Dental as their long history in the Fort Wayne community provides a resource for aspiring dental professionals to observe and learn.

Dr. Claire Hemphill
Dr. Claire is a native of Fort Wayne and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients to achieve their best smile. Upon graduation from IUSD, Dr. Claire continued her post-doctoral training through the Kois Center, providing the latest advances in esthetics, implant and restorative dentistry to her patients.
Trained with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr. Claire provides treatment for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain and improves patients’ confidence with Botox and Xeomin therapy. For her most fearful patients, Dr. Claire provides oral conscious sedation through DOCS Education.
Dr. Claire is proud to give back to the community and organized dentistry. She serves as the treasurer for the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society as well as the advisory board for the PFW College of Sciences. She spends many fun hours coaching volleyball for Woodside Middle School and Fort Wayne Volleyball Club.
Dr. Claire graduated from IPFW with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with Highest Distinction. During that time, she capped her volleyball career as a 2006 CoSIDA Academic All-American and NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship recipient. More recently, Claire’s athletic accomplishments were recognized in 2016 with an induction into IPFW’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
